I thought you might like to see what Vanessa B., the winner drawn in my 3rd anniversary giveaway, received.  This was her comment when she entered:

I only had a very small piece left of the fabric she mentioned, so after finding out that she likes purple, green and brown, I found some cute options and made this:

Three years ago today I wrote my first post here.  (Don’t go back and read it – it’s kinda embarrassing – see how there’s no link?)  Where do you start when you decide to jump into the world of creative blogs without much of a plan?  You just do it, and hope it goes somewhere.  Thanks to all of you reading this, it has and I’m infinitely grateful.  I love what I do and I’m happy I’m not enjoying it alone.

Enough being mushy, let’s talk numbers.  Since birth, Crafty Staci has been visited by people from 196 different countries.  Bonus points if you can name them all.  The countries, not the people.

Reading the phrases that readers have searched using a search engine that have landed them on my blog is pretty entertaining.  Some of them leave me scratching my head.  But there are a few that come up time after time.  This is the top ten things visitors have searched for and found me:

What Do You Want From Me?

Last year, the anniversary of my blog passed before I realized what had happened.  I celebrated anyway, but over a month late.  This year I’m actually ahead of the calendar.  The whole event is still a few weeks away, but I’m scheming right now.

One of the things I’m trying to decide is what to offer as a giveaway.  I really like to give a little something back to you, the readers who are willing to share some of your valuable time with me.  As I’ve said before, if I could I’d send a gift to every, single one of you.  However, until my husband’s lottery numbers come up, we’re looking at a random drawing.

Silhouette Software Giveaway

Remember those Glass Block Bookends I made a couple of weeks ago?  That project would have been much less stressful with one of those electronic cutting tools from Silhouette.  I don’t own one, but you can bet it’s on my wish list.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve clicked on a photo of a cute project and found out it was made using one of those handy machines.

The nice people at Silhouette contacted me recently to see if I’d be interested in sharing their Black Friday sale details with you.  I’m always up for a good sale, so of course I agreed.  I promised I wouldn’t release the details until Friday, but if you’re eyeing these like I am, you’ll want to come back!

First of all, let me just say thank you to everyone who entered.  I read every single one of your comments, retold your jokes, chuckled at the funny things your kids did, tried out your recipes (special thanks to two different readers who directed me to Pioneer Woman’s iced coffee) and visited your websites.  It was a fun, busy week for me, and I’m grateful to all of you for that.  As always, I wish I could give something to each of you.
