Giveaway Day–Handmade Accessories

This Giveaway Day is over – congratulations to Deb from Two Cheeky Monkeys for her win!

It’s Giveaway Day again!  Many thanks to Sew, Mama, Sew for continuing to host and organize this fun event.  This year I decided to participate in both the Supplies and Accessories categories, so check out my other post today for my Supplies giveaway.

GiveawayDay

For those of you who’ve never visited before, I’ve been blogging here at Crafty Staci for a while now, and love sharing simple, original tutorials and a few recipes.  You can see all of my previous tutorials here, and recipes here.  If you’d like to keep up with my adventures, you can subscribe over there in the side bar. ——————->

I have an Etsy shop and play around a bit on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.  In between all that, I make stuff.

My most popular tutorial ever is my Reversible Coffee Cup Sleeve, so it seemed like the perfect giveaway.  I’m always swapping the one I carry for a different one when the seasons change, so I couldn’t just give you one sleeve.   Instead, you’ll receive four!

GAD May 2012 CCS 1

You caught the “reversible” part, right?  So it’s almost like having eight sleeves.  Here’s the other side.

GAD May 2012 CCS 2

To enter to win this set, just leave me a comment.  Tell me a joke, what you’re working on, your favorite song, whatever.  The giveaway will remain open until 5 pm, PST on Friday, May 25th.  After that, I’ll randomly choose a winner (who I’ll notify by email, so make sure yours is linked to your comment somehow).  International readers are welcome to enter.  It’s a small world after all.

Thanks for visiting!  Be sure to check out my other giveaway and all the other great blogs and shops playing along this week!

I would love to win these coffee sleeves for her as she is so addicted to Star Bucks.

  11. Joke: A photographer went to a dinner party where he showed many of his photographs. The lady of the house said, those are very nice pictures, you must have a great camera. He said nothing, but when leaving for home offered the following compliment to the lady of the house “The meal was very nice, you must have great pots and pans.”

    p.s. excellent giveaway!!

What I am working on? The Quilt for my “little” girl. She chose the fabrics, the pattern, said where to cut and arranged the fabrics. Sometimes she pressed the pedal from the sewing machine and all the time she put back the needles in the pin cushion: arranged by color! Now we are on the quilting step and hopefully on the weekend she can sit on the sofa in her new quilt :)

  35. These are so cool, I LOVE that they reverse as well, so clever! I would use them every day as my mom and I both take medication in coffee/tea and we need something to protect our hands from the hot cup. I once appeared in an episode of “In the Heat of the Night” with Carroll O’Connor (Archie Bunker).

  43. I really could make these myself but gosh, this set you are giving away are the absolute cutest ones I’ve ever seen. I want them! (Oh was that too blunt? LOL) I do need these because I am such a little sissy hands that when we drive through Starbucks and I get hot coffee I need to have them put two of those cardboard sleeves on so I can hold the cup. You’d think after raising three boys (two were twins) that I’d have tougher skin than that. ha.

Ok so hopefully this won’t offend anyone with a connection to any lawyers but it’s funny. My Dad was a lawyer for years and then a judge and now one of my boys is in law school himself so I feel I’m able to post this joke since I’ve lived around that type my entire life. :)

One day, a teacher, a garbage collector and a lawyer wound up together at the Pearly Gates. St Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question.

St Peter addressed the teacher and asked “What was the name of the ship that crashed into an iceberg? They just made a movie about it”
The teacher answered quickly, “That would be the Titanic.”
St Peter let him through the gate.

St Peter turned to the garbage man and decided to make the question a little harder, “How many people died on the ship?”
Fortunately for him, the trash man had just seen the movie and answered, “About 1,500.” “That’s right! You may enter.”

St Peter then turned to the lawyer. “Name them.”
